"When we all work together, we can make a huge impact.” This is how Tammy Browne of Gulfstream Fabrication, LLC describes her recent teaming experience. Her company was awarded a government contract in June of 2009 with the Department of Homeland Security/FEMA. Gulfstream Fabrication, LLC are manufacturers of reinforced plastics and high-tech use composites and have been in business for over 30 years. They teamed with a concrete shelter company to provide and install seven underground concrete shelters in the Mississippi region. With a teaming agreement in place, they were able to complete the contract before the deadline and even received a testimonial document from DHS/FEMA. Together, the companies worked as a winning team, leveraging their complementary skills to win the contract and provide a great service for the people of Mississippi.
